Founding Chair Mitzi Leung's Thank You Message:
Dear RAGFP members,
I am both humbled and feel privileged that you have placed your confidence and elected me to serve on the Board of RAGFP, representing Asia, Australia, Oceana.
This election outcome reflects the collective effort in Peace in our local chapter the past 2 years.
I would like to thank the Board from the local chapter for their support in taking the Chapter to where it is now.
We have much work ahead in this trying time, not only in HK but globally. The set-up of RAGFP in this part of the world and in D3450, is a milestone in this day and age of increasing connectivity and interdependency globally.
Global challenges need global solutions. Rotary and most importantly Rotarians, are in great positions to contribute.
In the coming year, in addition to capacity building through education & training and growing membership, our Chapter sees the importance of reaching out for collaboration with Rotary and other like-minded partners, both locally and internationally, to co-create value and opportunity to grow global citizenship mindset and to engage in peacebuilding actions.
Peace begins from within and oneself! A peace mindset brings hope and well being for a sustainable future!!
I look forward to continue working with you all. Thank you once again.
Yours in Rotary
